INSPIRATION FOR YOUR WINNING PAINTING: An old Texaco store that I would pass driving to my fiancée’s parents’ house in South Carolina. Every time I would pass by, it would bring back childhood memories of growing up and being in the store and gas station that my parents owned.
SECOND-CHOICE CAREER: Jazz artist.
BEST ADVICE RECEIVED: Stay hungry and paint what you see. Make each painting better than the rest.
