Style: Realism.

Creative Spark: I’m inspired by the bright colors of fruit, fabric and glassware. I also enjoy the beauty of reflections in silverware.

Art Education: I went to university for animal biology and have no formal art education.

Best Art Advice Received: Learn and master composition. It is the most important element in any painting.

Favorite Studio Music: I have always been a big fan of AC/DC!

Favorite Work by Another Artist: My answer changes all the time, but right now I would say JELLY SHELF by Canadian artist Mary Pratt.

Artistic Goals: I hope to launch a YouTube channel in the next year, as well as apply to artist residencies overseas. It’s always been a dream of mine to visit Europe!

Other Passions: I am an avid reader and love learning everything about psychology and philosophy. I also love spending time outdoors with family and friends.
