Colorado
Art Education: I have a bachelor’s degree in studio fine arts from Union College in Schenectady, NY. I have taken plein-air workshops with various artists both in the United States and abroad. Most recently, I attended the Mount Gretna School of Art in Lancaster, PA.
Style: Representational.
Creative Spark: The outdoors has always been an important part of my life. I grew up in Rhode Island next to the ocean, and I have lived near the mountains in Colorado for the past two years. I am constantly inspired by light and atmospheric perspective witnessed firsthand.
Second-Choice Career: For as long as I can remember, I have wanted to be an artist. I never seriously considered other career options.
Other Passions: I love to travel, ski, and hike. And I will often take my paints with me on these adventures. Other passions include playing tennis and spending time by the water.
One Thing People Don’t Know About You: When people first meet me, they may not realize that I have a competitive spirit deep inside.
Biggest Fear: Having regrets.
Pet Peeve: Wasting time.
Quirkiest Trait: Having trouble deciding on a “favorite” anything, except pastries—definitely cinnamon buns.
Favorite Studio Music: I like anything on the calmer side when I paint, but the genre can range from alternative rock to country.
Future Goals: To continue to paint, build my skills, travel, and teach.
Price Range: $200 to $2,500.
